I went with my wife and our son to Iceland this summer.  We spent a month there, enjoying quality time with family and friends.  I also did quite a bit of shooting, and I’ve been busy editing since we got back.  On top of that I unexpectedly got a few assignments just after I arrived, so that has also kept me away from blogging.

And since I still have to get some work done, I will make do with showing you a few samples from our little trip to Iceland.

Would you believe that I shot this close to midnight?
My son gutting a just-caught cod, under the supervision of my dad.
I did a little photo session with my sister.

My son having some fresh scallops.
My brother hunts goose, cures it (no, not that kind of cure), and sells it at his restaurant, Systrakaffi.
My brother also catches trout, smokes it (no, not that way) and sells it at his restaurant, Systrakaffi.

Look closely and you’ll see the people walking behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
The moon rolling down a hill.
A sunset over Thordarhofdi. Yes, I was playing around with gradient filters on my camera.
Ásatrúarfélagið, a religious group in Iceland, praying to the old Norse gods, held their main event on Thingvellir in early July.
Andrés and Dagbjört got married on Thingvellir a few years ago, so we went there for their family portrait session.
